Wholeness
Each day in every way, my thoughts seek out the best in myself and others. I will watch my thoughts as I watch my world unfold around me, always on the lookout for the chance to speak and think the best of all things. Each moment of joy enhances that life, a gift I am granted each day.
Litany Against Fear
I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is he little death that brings total abliterations.I will face my fear. I will permit it to wash over me and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
Against Illness
I close my eyes and open my heart to my own healing nature and focus upon my (fill in the illness/body part), increasing circulation and healing light and warmth to that region. As I breathe in, fresh air brings health, as my heart beats, nutrient-rich blood brings healing, as I rest my dreaming mind brings renewal. I bring the healing power of my mind, brain and body to bear against illness and pain.
Self-Esteem
All humans are one, joined in our uniqueness, our brilliance and our frailties. We are human, we are not perfect and we are all we are meant to be. Loving all humans includes loving myself and the acceptance of that love reminds me that we are all one.
In Need of Guidance
As I move through this uncertain life, I acknowledge that uncertainty is its own answer. We are not meant to know all futures, not intended to see what is ahead and the degree to which we prepare relates to the lessons learned along the way. By seeking knowledge and trying to be the best we can, we honor our highest self, our friends, family - those who believe in us.
